This partial list of campaign contributions comes from records that “Fearless Frank” Serafine obtained from the City of Simi Valley in late
September 2007. The records of these legal contributions reveal contributions from developers, including KB Home, GreenPark Runkle and a
host of outsiders who are investing in Mayor Paul Miller, Mayor Pro Tem Steven Sojka, council members Glen Becerra, Barbra Williamson and, to
a lesser degree, Council Member Michele Foster.

Some of these dollars come from Boeing, owner of the Santa Susana Field Laboratory commonly known as Rocketdyne, which sits above
Runkle Canyon and has eleven acre drainage into it. Rocketdyne is the site of a 1959 meltdown worse than Three Mile Island and numerous
other radiation and chemical accidents, spills and dumping. Yet for all its money and lobbying, Boeing has agreed to clean up its polluted
laboratory, then leave the land for park land or open space. We say if cleaning up the land and leaving it alone is good enough for Boeing, then it
should be good enough for the City of Simi Valley and KB Home.

Yet the city seems reluctant to dismiss the mountains of evidence that the Runkle development may not be such a sweet deal after all. For
instance, why wouldn't the city take its own lab's advice to do more extensive testing of the surface water and surrounding soil after the city's
results showed high levels of toxic heavy metals just our like our tests did?

They have received campaign funds from developers, lawyers, real estate agents, general contractors, landscapers and from each other. The
totals below are just from the types of entities we’ve been able to recognize and tabulate.
